We collect information that you provide to us, or that you provide to an auto repair shop using Autonello, including:

• Name
• Mobile phone number
• Email address
• Vehicle information, including the vehicle identification number, plate and mileage
• Appointment and service information
• Repair estimates, authorizations and service records
• Communications between customers and auto repair shops
• Information submitted through forms, service requests or customer support
• SMS opt-in and opt-out records

We also collect technical information about the use of our platform, including device information, IP address, browser information and usage data.

2How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Autonello platform
• Enable communication between auto repair shops and their customers
• Send appointment confirmations and reminders
• Send vehicle service and repair status updates
• Send estimates and repair authorization requests
• Send vehicle completion and pickup notifications
• Respond to questions and support requests
• Maintain, secure and improve our services
• Prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

3SMS information and consent

Customers opt in to receive text messages by giving their mobile phone number directly to their auto repair shop when scheduling an appointment, dropping a vehicle off, during service intake, or through the shop’s online service request page. Autonello does not operate a keyword or advertising sign-up campaign.

Before opting in, customers are told that their number may be used to send service-related text messages, including appointment confirmations, repair status updates, estimate and authorization requests, pickup notifications and other messages about their vehicle service. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies with the customer’s service activity, and message and data rates may apply.

Customers may reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, and HELP for assistance. Autonello provides the technology that allows participating auto repair shops to hold two-way SMS conversations with their own customers.

We disclose information to service providers who help us operate the platform and deliver these messages, including telecommunications and technology providers, only as far as needed to provide the service and under appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

4Sharing information

We share information with the participating auto repair shop when that is necessary to provide the service a customer has asked for. We also use third-party providers for hosting, communications, security, analytics, payment processing and other operational functions.

We disclose information when required by law, regulation, court order or other valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, our users or our services.

5Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration and disclosure. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide our services, fulfil the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

7Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law. For text messages, reply STOP at any time to opt out of future messages, or HELP for assistance. You may also contact us at the address below.
